It's Melbourne Winter with the foggy iced chilled mornings, and with the worst drought in Australian history plaguing us, we welcome the rain but doesn't it make it hard to get out of bed. As that alarm bellows out, it's a known fact that your snooze button doesn't work in winter and those ten extra minutes sleep in, feels like seconds. Winter sneaks up on everyone - some love it, some hate it - but it's here so it's time to get out the foot heater or for those energy efficient people, find a nice warm blanket and rug up as winter is knocking on the door.
Winter in Melbourne has much to offer. A nice ski trip or an epic winter sporting battle.
